“ In 2025, this family owned and operated restaurant has been in business for over 78 years. The working cash register looks like it belongs in a museum! Food is freshly cooked to order. Wait staff is very friendly. Has seating for about 25 people, but people are in and out pretty quickly. One thing to know is that they accepted cash only. ”
“ Have an old-time milkshake that is reminiscent of the early 1960's. Wonderful :) flavorful reminder of what a real Milkshake is supposed to be like. Thank you... ”
“ Everyone has a ‘best burger ever’ place and this place is gonna make it at least to the top 5 for me, if not higher. It’s not fancy. It’s simple, no frills, just good food and good people. Amazing service, polite hosts, amazing food. 100% recommend getting a milkshake too! ”
“ Bring cash and a good appetite. The burgers are excellent. The fries and onion rings always hot and crispy. My go to lunch spot. Makes sense on why they’ve been in business so long. ”
“ If you're a fan of the hole-in-the-wall vibe that local spots often have, you'll love this place. As any food lover knows, these are typically the places where you find the best meals, and Smith's is no exception. The place is run by three incredibly nice people who take your orders and cook your food right there. They were super kind and got our food to us quickly, which is always a plus.We went with the classic burger and fries, and you could tell immediately that the burgers were made from fresh ground beef, formed into patties with care. The fries were Ore-Ida crinkle cuts, but honestly, they were just right alongside the burger. With great prices and delicious food, I would 100% go here again. ”
“ Food is DELICIOUS! The waitress is so sweet and kind! Thankful for small town living and places like this to enjoy! ”
“ Love love love! Simple concession type food -- hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, etc. Super cheap too. My favorite thing about it was how cute it was. It is just a little tiny old fashioned soda shop. Nostalgia abounds! The kids loved the homemade milkshakes. The only con I could find was that they are cash only and it didn't say that anywhere before we walked in. Luckily, the guy at the bar beside us forewarned us before we ordered. But when your whole meal is only 6, it doesn't make any sense for them to pay fees to take credit cards. ”
“ This is a stand alone little lunch counter where local folks might walk in, and one of the servers would say, “The usual?” And the customer would say, “Yeah!” I had lunch there today. I paid 5 plus change for a corn dog, onion rings and a large coke, tax included. Workers here are friendly and efficient. Food is made to order, and better than in most chain burger joints. The place is old but clean, and decorated with many decades-old pharmacy and soda fountain items. I’ve had a very pleasant experience. ”
